Chronicles 25-28 (读经：箴言
18：12)

前言Introduction:
中国的古语有“满招损，谦受益”的讲法（出自《尚书》）。在世界各国文化中也有许多类似的说法。圣经也有类似的教导。不同的是，圣经中的“谦卑”，首先是指人在永生独一真神面前的谦卑。今天我们要看的犹大国四代国王，三个在神面前骄傲，一个在神面前谦卑。

There’s
a traditional Chinese saying “Arrogance bring damage; Humility
brings benefit) (from “Shan Shu”).
There’re similar sayings in some other cultures around the world,
and also in the Bible. However, “being humble” in the Bible is,
first of all, humility before God. Today we’ll see four Judah kings
of four generations, three of which were arrogant before God, and one
was humble.

I.
亚玛谢—敌挡属神的先知.
Amaziah
—— Against God’s Prophet. (Ch. 25)

II.
乌西雅—-敌挡属神的祭司.
Uzziah —— Against God’s Priest. (Ch. 26)

III.
约坦—-敬畏属神的圣殿.
Jotham —– Honor God’s Temple. (Ch. 27)

IV.
亚哈斯—-敌挡属神的诫命.
Ahaz —– Against God’s Commandment. (Ch. 28)

結論与回應
Conclusion
and Response:

1.
只有首先在神面前谦卑，才能真正在人面前谦卑。～
Only
when a man is first humble before God, then he can truly be humble
before other people.

2.
默想并背诵箴言18:12:
败坏之先，人心骄傲；尊荣以前，必有谦卑。～
Meditate
on and Memorize Proverbs 18:12: Before his downfall a man’s heart
is proud, but humility comes before honor.
