前言Introduction:
希西家王是以色列南北国时代圣经记载事迹最多的一个王。在他的统治下，南国犹大开始了一段“中兴”的时期。希西家的生平里主要有两件事情。一是洁净圣殿，恢复守逾越节；一是与强敌亚述的交往和斗争。前一件事主要记载于历代志下。后一件事主要记载于列王记下。希西家开始作王的时期，也正是北国以色列亡国的时候。

Hezekiah
is the king that the Bible used most pages to write about in the
two-kingdom history.
Under his reign, the southern kingdom Judah started a period of
revival. In Hezekiah’s life, there were two events of the most
importance. One is that he cleansed the temple and resumed Passover
observance; the other is that his interaction and fight with a strong
enemy Assyria. When King Hezekiah began to reign, it was the time
when the northern kingdom Israel began to fall.

洁净圣殿.
Purify the Temple.

II.
守逾越节.
Celebrate the Passover.

III.
毁灭偶像.
Destroy the Idols.

IV.
献上当纳.
Give the Tithe.

Meditate
on and Memorize 2 Chron.31:21: In
everything that he undertook in the service of God’s temple and in
obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked
wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.
