Sister Bin Huang is the only violinist who won top prizes at all three most famous violin competitions:

– First Prize, Paganini International Violin Competition, Genoa, Italy, 1994
– First Prize, Junior Wieniawski International Violin Competition, Lublin, Poland, 1985
– Top Prize, ARD International Music Competition, Munich, Germany, 1999

Dr. Bin Huang last year returned to her alma mater to assume professorship at Eastman School of Music.
